Meet the Woman behind Red Letter Words
Today I am so excited to officially introduce you all to one of my sponsors (my very first sponsor) Red Letter Words. I was first introduced to Red Letter Words from another blog that was offering a giveaway of one of Dee's fabulous pieces. I immediately fell in love with her work and have since been one of her biggest fans. Dee is not only talented but one of the sweetest people I have had the pleasure to come to know and I am so excited she has put her faith in me and my little blog. Dee's faith-inspired art is both beautiful and meaningful. You can find everything you need from canvases to prints and greeting cards. She has both a website and blog full of great photos posts of her inspirations and life.
![]() ![]() It is so fascinating to me to understand why and how people come up with the names they do for their company or products. The term Red Letter is used to describe Bibles in which words spoken by Jesus, commonly only while he was on the Earth, are printed in red. Isn't that interesting? Dee is one special lady and her work is just unbelievable. Not only is she a talented artist but a great cook! She sent me her family secret recipe for Alfredo Sauce and boy is it delicious. Thanks Dee for ?Sharing your Secret?! Shame on you if you haven?t already done so because you are depriving my sweet husband and son from enjoying a fine meal! LOL! Just kidding, your off the hook but if you haven?t ?Shared your Secret? yet please do so because if it is as good as this one, Well, I will have to start coming over to your house for dinner. Forget, Kitchen Belleicious! This is by far the easiest delicious recipe you could ever possibly make and everyone will be begging you for the recipe and thanking you for slaving over the stove to make it! Little do they know there was no ?slaving? involved here. It literally took me a total of 8 minutes to make the sauce and 9 minutes to boil the past and mix it all together. Toss with whatever pasta you like best and call yourself Mama Mia! Now, I am counting on ya?ll to send me more of your secrets, I am like a little girl in a candy shop. GIMMY MORE, GIMMY MORE! LOL! Now grab yourself a nice cold drink of sweet tea and sit back as we get to know a little more about this amazing woman and don't forget to try out her recipe for Alfredo Sauce! YUM! 1) Tell me some basic info about yourself. (including one fun fact) I have a super awesome husband (almost 17 years:), the 4 bestest kids ever, and 1 dog. ![]() ![]() 2)Where do you hope to see you business going? I see RedLetterWords going wherever God wants it to go. Its been amazing watching it grow from a tiny idea of a scripture print I wanted for my living room into something that is way beyond anything I could have imagined. Whatever happens with RedLetterWords is completely His plan and that is super exciting! ![]() ![]() 3)Where do you find inspiration? Funny I recently wrote a blog post on inspiration. I get alot of emails about this . . . you can read more at my blog ![]() ![]() 4)Are there any products you haven?t created that you hope to? Yes! there are so many scriptures that I want to design into prints!! I have a loooong list:) ![]() ![]() 5)Why do you love what you do? Are there any down sides? I love to make prints because I love the Word and I love that God is using me to get it out there . . online and into peoples home where they can read it and be reminded of it every time they walk by. Some downsides . . . well I don't have as much time to scrapbook as I would like but I know that there will be a season for that! So its ok. RedLetterWords is my hobby and the challenge is keeping it my hobby so whenever I start to get overwhelmed I just throw my hands up and say God, if this is something you want me to do, then I need the time to do it. One time in particular I had a giant list of things that I needed to accomplish and we had a snow day! - so all my kids were going to be home and there was no way - I threw up my hands and said ok I can't get all this done today - not 5 minutes later, my friend called me and said Hey my kids want to play with your kids can I come pick them up?? I said yes! absolutely, I then got all my things done and met them at the snow hill:) ![]() ![]() 6) What has surprised you the most about the business? What has surprised me most is the amount of emails and blog comments that come in. I am constantly reminded how powerful and life changing God's Word is!!! ![]() ![]() DEE'S SECRET ALFREDO SAUCE ![]() related searches : Meet
