More lovely meals
img { display: block; margin: 0px auto; } Had a wave of good meals cooked for me by the wonderful people that I live with. Took pictures at the end cause some were really really interesting ideas that I hadn’t come across before! Also stuffing a sneak preview of the yellow curry that I made last night at the end of this post Sausages in home-made pizza dough
Apparently these turned out fabulous. I know the dough did because we made mini pizzas and dough balls with it too! Will get the chef to write me out the recipe for this delight. Potato Wedges and Mini Pizzas
These wedges were insanely good! Tons of lovely herbs and spices went into them and they were baked just right. As I said earlier, the mini pizzas were extremely impressive as a vegetarian substitute just for me! Vegetable Tartlet with Fresh Baguette and Lettuce Salad
Don’t think I’ve ever eaten a vegetable tartlet before but it was sensational. You’ve got the slightly crumbly, thick texture of the tart itself topped with juicy vegetables like aubergines and tomatoes… it was great.
Potato and Cheese Baked Rice
Hadn’t ever eaten this before either. Imagine fried rice topped with baked potatoes and a very creamy, luscious cheese on the top. Talk about fusion.
Yellow Thai Curry
Absolutely loved the smells of this beastly curry while cooking it. All the lemongrass, coriander, galangal and other funky herbs and spices really got the atmosphere cracking as I concocted this curry. It tasted pretty good too, if I may say so myself, but oh I wish I’d had lime leaves! related searches : More
