No bake Strawberry Cake

No bake Strawberry Cake Recipe:

Medium sized sponge cake
6 pcs fresh strawberries - sliced
4 pcs fresh strawberries- cut in half
2 tbsp powdered sugar or sugar
1 pack cream cheese
150 grams strawberry jam
1 pack whipped cream

1. In a bowl, sprinkle sugar on strawberries (all of them), set aside for 30 mins.
Note: A syrup will be produced, you can add this you filling or use as a decor to our cake

2. Cut the sponge into 2 layers

3. In a separate bowl, prepare the filling, mix cream cheese, strawberry jam and add some powdered sugar, depending on your preferred sweetness.

4. Spread the filling into the first layer, then layer it with sliced strawberries.

5. Cover the top with the other layer, cover the whole cake with whipped cream.

6. Decorate the top with the remaining strawberries (halves)

7. Refrigerate for 30 mins before serving. Serve with hot tea or coffee with whipped cream on top.

Note: we haven't got our baking gadgets. all we have is a bowl and a whisk!
