Remembering Tahoe 2010!

By Marens Morsels (Visit website)

As I?m sure some of you know from my frantic tweet, and my Having Problems post blogging in Tahoma, Lake Tahoe is not the easiest of jobs. Max?s cabin doesn?t have internet? at all. So I ventured into Tahoe City to try and find some wi-fi.

I thought I?d found it all when Max, Caity and myself walked into Tahoe House, a cute-bustling little café.

Unfortunately for me the connection was too slow to post. So I tried and tried. I tried resizing pictures and making my posts smaller. Ultimately Maren?s Morsels had a little 6 day break from posting. Luckily the trip was not a complete bust. We had the most delicious chai tea lattes and old fashioned blueberry-cranberry muffins.

We spent our days, aside from frantically trying to find wi-fi by walking in the snow, making snowmen and eating loads of delicious foods. Max?s mom Ann and his aunt Susie are amazing cooks and bakers. I ate myself into a food coma every single day.

Pancakes

These oatmeal pancakes were made multiple times. Holy yum. I?ll have to make the recipe for you all sometime soon. They are my favorite oatmeal pancake ever!

Snow

we built snowmen, we walked through the neighborhood, we found my car? we also enjoyed lots of hot cocoa.

We?ll keep remembering Tahoe this week. I have so many great pictures. Snow is so photogenic. Good night!
