ROTW Modern Interior Meets Thai Cuisine at Thai Pan
It?s one of those restaurants you?d hope for good food because of the ambiance. Wishing that it is at par with the taste. We went on to have dinner at Thai Pan. Looove anything white!SDBF?s usual order in any Thai Restaurant, Tom Yum Kung ? Hot & Sour Prawn Soup (Php145). I normally don?t like sour/tangy foods, but I did appreciate this. It was very flavorful! We were even debating as to whether it had instant granules in it or not, but agreed it did because it was too palatable. Tom Yum KungBoth being steak/beef lovers, we chose Phanaeng Neur Yang ? US Beef Tenderloin in aromatic Phanaeng Curry (Php360). Beef was very tender, although I?m pretty sure they used tenderizer here. Curry was good for me, but it had too much coco cream for Deeds. US Beef Tenderloin in Phanaeng CurryPhad Thai ? Thai style fried noodles (Php310), which SDBF liked because it was on the tart side. I on the other hand had to adjust the seasonings to my taste -- with a little fish sauce & sugar. I like how they serve their Phad Thai, with a plate full of condiments to suit one?s taste. Phad ThaiLast was the Pla Kapong Neung Manao ? steamed whole fish fillet in lime chili sauce (Php 340). Its lime taste was subtle, refreshing. Pla Kapong Neung ManaoFood was good in general, but place still is prettier than the food. Thai Pan 120 Scout Dr. Lazcano St. Tomas Morato, QC
