Xmas eve dinner
i bought 2 pieces of ribeye from huber's that day. seasoned them lightly with sea salt, pepper and rosemary. then seared them over high heat in a pan. to serve, i made oven baked fried by first boiling some cut potatoes in water. then, finish off by roasting them till crisp in the oven. in case we're not full enough, i also made a simple penne pasta ... garlic and chilli. of course, we need our greens. the dressing was lemon juice, olive oil, and salt. dessert was taken an hour later cos we were stuffed! dessert was ice cream - cold stone creamery style. take plain vanilla ice cream, mix in some peanut butter, chocolate chips and almond flakes! a sweet end to a meal.
