ARDEN WAY IHOP OPEN FOR BUSINESS
This morning around 8:00AM I entered the brand new IHOP on Arden Way. They have been open just a couple of days. Everything is brand new from the Kitchen area to the booths, to the carpet. Brand new makes for a good dining experience.
When I walked in I was greeted with a smile & taken to a booth near a window. The hostess / worker told me that my server was a little busy & would be with me in a couple of minutes. The host then walked away. No coffee, no water.... Nothing! Kind of strange if you ask me. Like, where's my coffee? Hello? After a couple of minutes my server "Jacob" arrived to take my order. I ordered the "Two X Two X Two" which consisted of 2 buttermilk pancakes, 2 eggs & 2 pork sausage links. I got my coffee, OJ & a glass of water. Also, I was told that after my meal I would be getting a $10.00 gift card! Score! Now this is a good business move. Basically they are guaranteeing my next meal to be pretty much free. Or I could give the gift card to a friend. Not! The $10.00 gift card was nice and helped me to soon forgot about the coffee glich when I was first seated. They are new & I'm not some VIP, just a half assed food critic who blogs on the Internet. As I was thinking about my gift card my food arrived. Everything was cooked to perfection. There was plenty of food on my plate. The staff was polite & courteous. I was indeed a very happy customer! The total for my meal was $13.13, I left Jacob a $3.00 tip. One thing I noticed is the IHOP staff was a very diverse crew. They appear to be a true equal opportunity employer at IHOP. Will I go back to IHOP? Hell yeah, especially with my free gift card! I give IHOP 3 1/2 Stars out of a possible 4 Stars! related searches : Arden Way
