Curd rice/Yoghurt rice/Thayir Sadham
Ingredients Cooked rice 2 cups Curd/Yoghurt 3/4 cup Milk 1 and 1/4 cup Coriander leaves 1/4 cup salt as needed To temper Oil 1-2 tsp Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp Chana dal 1 and 1/2 tbsp Urad dal 1 tbsp Green chilli 3-4 no(finely chopped) ginger 1" piece(finely chopped) Curry leaves 1 twig Method Heat oil in pan ,add the tempering ingredients one by one and fry them .Then transfer the contents to the curd .add coriander leaves and mix everything well. For curd rice...rice should be hot ,soft and liquidy.Adding more milk than curd gives more taste and less sourness.For lunch box ,also it will remain more fresh without sour taste.Now to the rice,add seasoned curd and salt.Mix well and add milk and again mix well.At this stage ,curd rice will be more liquidy thats not a problem,it will taste more gud and if u serve for lunch it will remain fresh and in perfect consistency.Serve curd rice with any pickles or poriyals or non-veg curries and fry.related searches : Curd
