Recipe Hunting
I feel so disconnected from the world with my my lap top. I am so behind on blogs, Facebook, e-mails, etc? Please forgive my lack of answering questions. I promise I will get answers out ASAP. Without my lap top I have also lost my recipe base. I was in this huge baking mood last night and was dying to cook up something sweet in the oven. I dug through my huge pile of magazine, but nothing struck out at me. I really wanted to make cookies so I started digging in my cabinet when I discovered my thing of Oatmeal. On the side was a recipe for oatmeal cookies so I decided to give it a shot. The recipe was off the Publix Brand of Oatmeal and I can?t seem to find it online. It was pretty basic though, just oats, sugar, flour? you know the deal. I tried to fancy them up by adding Pomegranate seeds. I had three of these little babies with my cup of tea. They were way to sweet for my taste so I sent the rest home with my friend who came over to help me retrieve lap top files (we were unsuccessful). He promised me his roommates would have no problem devouring the cookies so I knew I sent them to the right place. To back up to yesterday afternoon, I had a snack of an Orange with some Cashew Butter. My supervisor was helping me with something on my computer and was commenting on my odd snack. I told her it was good, but she refused to try it. Sometimes I forget how my eating habits may seem odd to other people. For dinner I knew my friend was coming over so I made a meal that produces the perfect amount for two. I made my amazing Apple & Pork Stuffed Acorn Squash. I even printed my own recipe off before I left work to make sure I remembered all that went in it. It was a little drier then last time, but still amazing! I couldn?t even finish the whole thing so Abbie helped me finish off the squash skin on my behalf. This morning was another bootcamp morning! I really enjoy my boot camp work outs, they always make me feel like I accomplished this great amazing work out in less then an hour. I followed the same work out plan I set out last week, which left me refreshed and sweaty. The only other work out I have laid out this week is a 4 mile run tomorrow then its time for my Half! Yay!! Breakfast this morning was a fun cereal creation. I had 3/4 cup of Kashi Vive, 1/2 cup of Quaker Oatmeal Squares, 2 spoonfuls of Applesauce, some Pom seeds and some Blueberries. Cereal is always so refreshing after a nice sweaty work out. Wow, these combination posts feel so long winded! I guess they will have to do for this week! Have a great Wednesday everyone! ![]() related searches : Recipe
