Quick, name that tune! Sorry, I’m in a really good, really goofy mood. When he & the bambino picked me up from work this evening, Jay asked if I needed to go anywhere. I said no, but he asked again if I was sure, since I got a large package today.
The bambino kept chirping about how big the box was. I knew exactly what it was & who it was from:
A couple weeks ago, Breville asked for ideas on Facebook regarding cooking/food shows. The person whose suggestion they liked best would receive a prize. My suggestion was to feature something on actual menu & meal planning. I’m kind of a nerd when it comes to that sort of stuff (just ask my husband!), but I also wonder how cooking show stars and chefs come up with their menus. Breville liked my idea best, and so they sent me a Juice Fountain Plus!
I took my time opening the box (because I’m a dork).
It’s massive!

Okay, I’m done gushing about it. I am going to need to find a place to house it, though.
It would fit very nicely in the corner where my bread machine is, but I use my bread machine a LOT. I’ll figure something out. Thanks to Breville for the awesome kitchen gadget–I’m excited to try out a bunch of juice recipes…There’s one that came in the instruction manual that sounds delicious, if only it were summer already. Blueberry, blackberry, strawberry & lime juice. Yum!
After I got done admiring the juicer, I got to work on dinner. Ham & potato frittata.
At the last minute, I topped it with mozzarella before popping it under the broiler.
I should get myself to bed…Last night was a little rough on the bambino, and he was up very early this morning. And I’ve got to get my lunch packed and the coffee maker fixed!
