Guitar cakes are really popular this time around. Hanna Montana started the new trend for this type of birthday party cake for kids of all ages. There are many ways to decorate a guitar cake. You can use buttercream or fondant. It just depends on the type of cake you are looking for. If you want a bright, cartoonish, fun cake you will go with buttercream like the one you see in the picture. If you want something more elegant and sophisticated with a lot of details you will go with fondant. I can do both types of cakes. Although there is a big difference when it comes to pricing this cake. Fondant is on the higher end because it more labor intensive but the outcome is well worth it. Either way you can have your cake and eat it too especially when it comes to a budget on purchasing a cake that you want.
