Noone characterized the martini as a drink of the suave and sophisticate man quite like Frank Sinatra. You may know Frank from his music. You many know him from the movies. Either way, you know him to be truly cooly and forever suave.

Old blue eyes and his Rat Pack made drinking the thing to do in their day and they made the martinivery cool. Sinatra?s drink of choice was the ?Dry Manhattan?. This is a simple drink made of Canadian whiskey, Dry Vermouth, and Bitters.
Here?s the recipe:

1.5 oz Canadian Whiskey
¾ oz dry Vermouth
1 dash Angostura bitters

Stir well in a mixing glass filled with ice or in a shaker. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a lemon peel.
