Milk gourd Halva Ingredients 1 ½ kg Long milk gourd250 gm Khoya 1 packet Ground coconut 8 Cardamoms 20 Pistachios 20 Almonds 1 ½ cup Sugar 2 tbsp Oil Method Grate a long milk gourd which weighs approximately 1 ½ kg. Crush together 8 small cardamoms and 1 tsp sugar. In a wok, heat 2 tbsp oil and sauté the sugar mix. Take milk gourd mix out of the pot and keep separately. Sauté briefly and then add steamed milk gourd and mix. Now add 1 ½ cup sugar and some water. When sugar begins to form syrup, add milk gourd mix. Spread on a platter and make a layer of 250 grams khoya, 1 packet ground coconut, 20 pistachios and 20 almonds. Milk gourd Halve is ready to serve. related searches : Milk
