OUR SPONSORS

With the progression and complexities of the human diet, our bodies seem to change more an more.  Food allergies, diabetes, lactose intolerance are all at the forefront of everyone's minds, but something that goes un-noticed is a real concern for millions of people.  While we don't suffer from non-coeliac gluten intolerance better known as wheat allergies, gluten free diets can help with other symptoms as well.  Migraines, some skin conditions, and other health concerns can be helped with a gluten free diet.  Now, if you are not fully committed to a gluten free lifestyle, then give some of these meals a try.  Mixes from the Heartland has created seriously amazing pre-made, pre-packaged food for people that have to live without gluten, or for those who want a healthier lifestyle. The food is actually really good.

Mixes From The Heartland

A few facts about Mixes from the Heartland...they have no eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, oats, barley, rye or wheat in the factory. No bean flours are used in any products and the factory is allergen test. Also, every raw products that enters the factory has to pass an Eliza Test, which means that the product in the plant are 5 parts per million or less for wheat.

I was a little nervous because I have never tried anything that was gluten free, so I didn't know how it was going to taste. I was sent a bunch of different products from Mixes from the Heartland to sample. I didn't tell my family that it was all from a package when cooking up the soups or making the seriously awesome dessert. First of all, let me tell you, the products come with practically everything you need to make them. Second, they make your house smell amazing when the food is cooking...and it seriously makes so much...you will have left overs for the next day! Also, the prices are really great-mostly ranging from $4.00 to $7.00 depending on what you are looking for.

They also make such great food storage.  That is where their partner company Gluten Free Emergency Kits comes in. With all the natural disasters that have been happening, now is the time to be prepared for anything.

Enter to win my two favorite meals, from Mixes from the Heartland...Strawberry Pound Cake and Chicken and Rice Soup. You will just love these. They are so packed with flavor, and so easy to make.
