Every cookie platter I have ever made always includes the famous 7 layer bar. Because they were easy to make, and everyone seems to enjoy them as much as I do. But after making recipes like the
Raspberry Dream Bar and the
Chocolate Macaroon Bar this year, the 7 layer bar now has some competition. If the truth be known, I can honestly say I like bars better then I like cookies.
The other day, my daughter wanted to make cookies. I said yes, if she would make this particular bar recipe that I had bookmarked. It sounded really good and sure enough, she produced another terrific bar. We didn't get very good pictures, and seriously thought about making them again to better entice you, but, so many recipes (and calories), so little time.
Easy and delicious!
