Frozen tofu and a spring meal

This was the first time I tried  frozen tofu. I once read/heard somewhere  that when you use frozen tofu for marinating, it absorbs the flavors even more. And it did,  so amazing!












Even the texture of the tofu is changing totally, less smooth and soft.


This tofu was marinated with some tamari, apple juice, Madeira wine and African spices.   Next, chop a  red bell pepper, stir fry it and add the tofu.   Serve with mashed potato and broccoli.


And as a surplus, a typical colourful spring meal:
