- Beat all ingredients together until smooth.
 - Pour half of the glaze over the still-warm loaf.
 - Wait about 10 minutes, allowing the glaze to harden slightly, and then pour the remaining glaze over the loaf.
 - This way you get a nice thick layer of the glaze. Use a pastry brush and painted the glaze on to the sides of the loaf as well.
