Tong Sui

By My Savoury Life (Visit website)

As you know, I am not a dessert person. I love savoury food, and just not that keen on desserts, cakes, or anything sweet. But for some reason, for the last few days I was craving for sweets stuff especially Tong Yuen.. So when I was doing my grocery shopping online, I bought some sweet potatoes and ginger.

I finally had my dose of sweets to satisfy my cravings. I put lots of ginger and rock sugar to my tong sui, it was love-ly! The sweet potato was very fresh and sweet on its own, and my favourite black sesame tong yuen tasted yummy as well!! I had sucha good dinner and supper. Since this is a back dated post, I am craving for my tong sui again, but am too lazy to make them today, so I had tiramisu instead! Lol.
