Tools of the [Daddy] trade

Fathers’ Day is looming up ahead–you’ve got just about 4 days exactly, if you celebrate and if you’re in the U.S. By sheer biological dint of fate, Fathers’ Day has got a hard act to follow, namely, Mothers’ Day. I do feel this upcoming greeting-card-moment is not as overplayed as Mothers’ Day. Until only a generation ago, most fathers, I’d say, the majority of dads, were truly relegated to breadwinner status with not much hands-on parenting experience. Not anymore, and I say this from first-hand experience: add on the nurturing and the diaper-changing, and the lines are all blurred now–at least in this family. We’ve been blessed with a Daddy who loves to play handyman-mechanic-all-around good guy. This Daddy loves the challenges of home/car/garage maintenance, and I know what he’d love for a present this Sunday…

If you’re scrambling for a present, why not check out
