You've come to the right place to prepare your salmon Gravlax-style. A simple, effective recipe for a gustatory voyage to Viking country. The festive season is fast approaching, and this little appetizer will fit in perfectly at the center of your table. Here's how to prepare it, step by step:


Ingredients for 3 persons :

  • 5 oz salmon fillet
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • dill
  • 1 tbsp. pink berries
  • lemon juice (optional)

Utensils required :

  • cling film

Step-by-step preparation :

  • Mix ingredients:

Crush pink berries to a powder. In a bowl, combine sugar, salt, pepper, crushed pink berries and dill.

  • Cover salmon with mixture

Pour half the mixture into a dish, then place the salmon fillet (skinless and boneless) on top. Cover with the mixture of salt, sugar, berries and dill. Cover with cling film and refrigerate for 24 hours.

  • Drain stored water

Remove accumulated water and return to refrigerator for 24 hours.

  • Clean salmon

Rinse salmon fillet to remove excess salt and sugar mixture.

  • Cutting

Cut the salmon into thin slices.

  • Finishing the preparation

Sprinkle with pink berries and dill, then drizzle with lemon juice.
