A quick money saving tip....
See this cutie right here? Yea, him up there in the tie. He hasn't gone somewhere and gotten his haircut in a couple years. That's right years. "Where's his afro?" you say . Well, I have been keeping that afro in check myself for a couple of years. He does his own beard work. Several years ago, his beard trimmer died and we went to go get another one. What we came home with was a Wahl home hair cutting kit complete with shears, combs and a built in beard trimmer. He only used it for beard trimming until one day after many 80 hour work weeks in a row ( at a job he no longer has I might add) he came to me, clippers in hand begging me to attack the afro on his head. So I sat him down in the kitchen, slapped a #4 guard on that thing and got rid of the afro like it was a bad polyester dress suit. It was then that I realized that we could be saving a lot of money. He paid about $15 a month to get a haircut which by itself saves about $200 a year. But add in this guy: And this little girl: ( I obviously don't shave her head, but I have gotten pretty decent at using a pair of hair shears) And I am saving $540 a year on haircuts. Now, boys are easy. They can walk around with a shaved head no big deal, but girls are harder. I recommend checking out a hair cutting book at your local library to get the basics down. "What about me?" you ask. Well, I still pay for my haircuts, but they only come once every 6 months or so. I'm just not brave enough to let one of the other 3 members of the household cut my hair yet. related searches : Quick
