Place the rectangular puff pastry on a baking sheet and spread with cream cheese.
Season with salt and pepper.
Cover with the second puff pastry.
Cut out squares from the dough.
* Use your hands! They will be about 3 fingers square.
Make rounds in the squares and prick with a fork.
Brush with beaten egg.
Place toppings in the center of the puff pastry: olives, sun-dried tomatoes and pesto.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F/180°C for 20 minutes.
