There's no doubt about it, recipes made with puff pastry are often the tastiest. Today we will look at how to make simple dumplings with smoked salmon and fresh goat cheese: the perfect combination to bring a mouth-watering appetiser to the table.

- Cut the puff pastry roll into 4 parts. Then place them on a baking tray covered with baking paper.
- Cut the salmon into little pieces, then mix it with fresh goat cheese. Add salt and pepper. Mix well.
- Spread the mixture on the 4 pieces of puff pastry.
- Fold the corners towards the centre (see the video tutorial at the bottom of the page).
- Bake for 25 minutes at 350°F (180°C).
- The flaky baskets with smoked salmon and goat cheese are ready!
Observations
What do I do if I don't find square puff pastry?
You can also use a round puff pastry and cut the edges to form a square.
What can I use instead of fresh goat cheese?
Any cream cheese (like philadelphia) will do.
