- Preheat the oven to 160C. Grease and line a loaf tin or an 8 round tin. Sift the flour and baking powder into a large bowl and add the butter, caster sugar,eggs and vanilla extract.
- Beat well until the mixture is smooth,then stir in half the chopped kiwi fruit. Spoon the mixture into the prepared tin and smooth the surface with a palette knife. Scatter over remaining chopped fruit.
- Bake for about 1 hour or until risen,firm and golden brown. Leave to cool in tin for 10 minutes, then turn out and finish cooling on a wire rack.
Questions
You say nothing about finishing your cake,i.e. the sliced kiwi, the glaze and the lace of chocolate. Where do I find that?
You can decorate as you want using kiwi fruit and chocolate, or as shown in the recipe photos!
