Beancurd Rolls

I love spring rolls but because they are usually fried, too much of them will cause heatiness and bad for health. Spring rolls are usually vegetables wrapped in popiah skins while another type is mince meat wrapped in dry beancurd sheets.
I prepared this homemade beancurd rolls with my favorite vegetables and lots of white pepper. I did not deep fried them, instead only steamed the rolls with a few tbsp of mushroom stock. The dish was not oily but tasty. But you need to steam over high heat so that the beancurd sheets are soft enough to bite but strong enought to hold.
