Brown rice and vegetable broth
Ingredients 80 g brown rice 500 ml water 30 g onions, chopped 20 g carrots, chopped 20 g french beans, chopped 20 g cauliflower florets 20 g green peas , shelled 600 ml clear vegetable stock 1 teaspoon cooking oil 1 teaspoon cilantro , chopped ½ teaspoon salt ( or to taste ) ½ teaspoon garlic , chopped ¼ teaspoon pepper powder Method 1, Boil the brown rice in 500 ml of water till the water is absorbed and rice is cooked. 2, Saute the onion and garlic in oil till light brown. 3, Add the vegetables and sauté for a minute on a low heat. 4, Puree the brown rice and add to the stock. 5,Simmer till the vegetables are done. Add rice - stock mixture and seasoning. Mix well. 6, Serve hot, garnished with finely chopped cilantro. Calorie content of each serving - 111kcal
