I have been cooking up a storm out of this mag and will be sharing with you all in case you haven't gotten around to picking one up yourself!! Deen Bros. Oatmeal-Toffee Cookies INGREDIENTS: 1 cup butter, softened 1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar 1/2 cup sugar 3 large eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 3/4 cup flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 3 cups quick-cooking oats 1 (8-ounce) package Heath Bit's O' Brickle Toffee Bits DIRECTIONS: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or Silpat liner. In a large bowl, beat butter and sugars at medium-high speed with a mixer until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Gradually add to butter mixture, beating until combined. Add oats and chocolate-covered toffee bits, beating until combined. Drop batter by heaping tablespoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets.
