Flavouring Butter - Honey Butter Recipe
This Honey Butter is a fantastic addition to afternoon tea or breakfast table, perfect with toasted breads, hot biscuits, warm scones and a whole array of quick bread, pound cakes and loaf cakes. Flavouring butter is so simple to do, a breeze to store and makes a lovely prezzie when you're popping to a friends for a cuppa. I like to shape mine into a log, wrapped in greaseproof paper, much like you would cookie dough for friends at Christmas. Honey Butter 125g unsalted butter, softened 2 tablespoons good quality honey Place the butter in a medium bowl and beat until soft and light. Add the honey and beat again until combined. Scrape the butter into a ramekin and cover or wrap in greaseproof paper and refrigerate until ready to use.
