Run, Eat, Antique
Mal and I eat 12-mile runs for breakfast! It’s crazy to think that 12 miles is now considered a “recovery” run. After running 14 miles last weekend, 12 miles seemed easier, but it’s still 12 miles!
The best part about today’s run was tackling the G Street hill. I ran up the entire thing without stopping. It was glorious!! I still can’t believe that I did it, especially after how much trouble it gave me the first time.
On today’s run, I tested out some Sport Beans. Flavor-wise, I liked them. But, it took me for-ever to eat them. Around mile 6.5, I stopped, fumbled around, and took a solid 5 minutes to eat them one by one. Meh. I still like the Honey Stinger the best.
I finished 12 miles in 1:51:02 (average pace 9:15).
After saying goodbye to our team, Mal and I went to look at furniture. We’re all about the consignment and antique stuff, so we did some window shopping at bunch of different shops in Southie and the South End.
We found a number of pieces that we really liked.
I think we’re definitely going back for this one!
Love!
Mal and I took a quick break from furniture shopping to refuel with second breakfast. (I ate my usual peanut butter + banana sandwich before running this morning.) We stopped by P.S. Gourmet to grab iced coffees and egg sandwiches.
With our bellies full, we visited a couple more furniture stores.
Mal fell in love with this arm chair. We might go back for this piece too!
I really loved this dresser, but it cost $700.
Heading out for puppy playtime! Enjoy the day!!! related searches : Run
