Weight Watchers endorses McDonald?s
Yeah, that’s right, you heard me. McDonald’s, the Golden Arches, the fatty and salty foods and the slimming helpers Weight Watchers. It’s like seeing a 55-year-old man going through a midlife crisis ? wearing a leather jacket and with an 18-year-old blonde on his arm. The instant reaction is, eh? I can see what the attraction is for McDonald’s and the 55-year-old but on the other side of the coin. Eh? I should hasten to add that this is all happening in New Zealand where WW is endorsing some of the McD’s products and as such the WW logo will go on to the menu boards. What’s the world coming to? Apparently the Fillet-O-Fish, Chicken McNuggets and Sweet Chilli Seared Chicken wraps are all okay with the WW people. What they don’t seem to remember is that when you’re in McDonald’s you’re hardly likely to order just Chicken McNuggets and a glass of tap water. It’s like inviting an alcoholic to come have a quick glass of alcohol free beer in a bar filled with liquor. The Fillet-O-Fish may be 6.5 points on the WW scale (with dieters eating 18-40 points a day) but how many are chips? And what about a coke? I’ll say it again. Eh? related searches : Weight
