Winter Warming Diet by Tonya Kay and Joanna Steven
![]() This ebook is not what I expected. I am familiar with Tonya Kay- she has been a raw vegan for 8 years. I was intrigued just because she was one of the authors. I love reading about others who have been living this lifestyle successfully for much longer than me. The ebook is co-authored by Joanna Steven. The ebook covers 28 days of Tonya's life. She shares what she has eaten and drank for the day- the exact amounts. Each day also included a nutritional analysis of the foods eaten for the day. Calories and nutrients. That is very cool. To see first hand the nutrients in what we are eating on a daily basis if we are following a similar diet. Tonya also shares her activity for each day as well. There are also articles through out the book- leafy greens, nuts, questions and answers and more. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn more about the nutrient content in what they are eating. The only thing I felt the book was lacking was actual recipes. Several things dishes were mentioned that I would have loved to have the recipes for. That said, I still think it is a very informative book and worth having in your library.
