Cranberry blood orange compound butter

one 12 ounce bag of fresh

1 whole blood orange

2 teaspoons fresh orange zest

1/4 teaspoon pure orange extract

pinch of ground cinnamon


  • Combine all ingredients in the bowl of your food processor and pulse until finely chopped or ground. The mixture will resemble a somewhat chunky applesauce. Place into a covered container, cover and chill in the fridge for at least 1 to 2 hours to allow the flavors to marry.
