Creams: the perfect combination

To make pandoro even more mouthwatering, we have chosen two creams that go together perfectly:

  • Mascarpone cream: with a delicate and creamy taste, it adds an extra touch to the flavor of the pandoro
  • Nutella cream: An irresistible temptation for Nutella lovers, with a velvety texture and unmistakable flavor.

Ingredients for the stuffed pandoro

1 Italian Pandoro brioche 2 lbs

1 Tbsp icing sugar (more or less)


Nutella cream :

2/3 cup sour cream 30% fat

1 + 1/3 cup mascarpone

1/2 cup Nutella




Vanilla cream :

1 cup sour cream 30% fat

1/2 cup mascarpone

1/3 cup icing sugar

1 tsp vanilla



Preparing stuffed pandoro

1. Prepare Nutella cream: pour cold cream into bowl (put in freezer for 15 minutes before using), add mascarpone and Nutella. Whisk until the mixture is smooth. Transfer to a piping bag and place in the refrigerator.

2. Prepare the mascarpone cream: pour the very cold liquid cream into the bowl, add the mascarpone, powdered sugar and vanilla. Whip until stiff. Transfer the mixture to a piping bag and refrigerate.

3. Prepare the pandoro: cut the pandoro into 6 horizontal slices and be surprised by the stars that will appear.

4. Stuff the pandoro: place the first slice of pandoro on the plate and fill with Nutella cream. Spread it evenly in the center with the help of a spatula and decorate the tips of the star with small clumps of cream.

5. Place the other slice gently, aligning the edges perfectly. In this way, the tips of the star will create a harmonious pattern without overlapping. Fill with the mascarpone cream, leveling it with a spatula. Then recreate the tufts on the tips.

6. Alternate layers of pandoro and cream until you reach the desired height. Finish with a generous layer of cream (to taste) and a dusting of powdered sugar that will make your pandoro irresistible.
