Unroll the pastry sheet. Spread tomato sauce on one half, then sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Fold the pastry over the sauce, and cut strips 1 cm wide.
Take each strip and twist it to form the twist.
Place the twists on a lined baking tray, and brush with beaten egg. Sprinkle with sesame seeds again.
Bake for 15 minutes at 350°F (180°C).
And there you have it, your sesame puff pastry twists are ready!
