- 1-liter bottle
- 1-liter jar
- Peeler
Preparation
Peel all the lemons using a peeler and set aside the peels.
Place them in a jar and add the alcohol. Close the jar and let it macerate for 2 weeks, away from light and heat.
After the maceration period, boil the water and sugar together, then add this syrup to the macerated alcohol. Close the jar and let it sit for another 24 hours.
After this time, strain the mixture to remove the lemon peels, and pour the Limoncello into a bottle. Chill in the refrigerator for a few hours.
And there you have it, your easy homemade Limoncello is ready!
