To end perfectly and Italian meal, just drink a drop of this delicious lemon liqueur called Limoncello.

Ingredients

4 organic lemons
2 cups vodka
2 cups sugar
2 cups water

Preparation

Step 1 - Homemade Limoncello, the Italian lemon liqueur

Peel all the lemons and keep the peels.
Step 2 - Homemade Limoncello, the Italian lemon liqueur

Put them in a jar and add the vodka. Close the jar and leave to macerate for 2 weeks, in a dark and cold place.
Step 3 - Homemade Limoncello, the Italian lemon liqueur

Step 3

After 2 weeks, boil the water and the sugar together, and add it to the content of the jar. Close it and leave 24 hours.
Step 4 - Homemade Limoncello, the Italian lemon liqueur

Step 4

Then, strain the mix to take the peels out, and put the Limoncello in a bottle. Put in the freezer for a few hours.
