Auspicious Fish Nian Gao
Preparation

Sieve all flour together and stir in coconut milk.

Boil water with sugar and leave to cool.

Stir sugar syrup and oil into flour mixture.

Remove half bowl of flour batter and add in orange colour.

On the greased fish mould, fill the parts that you want the orange colour to appear and steam for 3 minutes.

Then top up with the plain batter and steam for 40 minutes on high heat.

Repeat till you finish all the batter.
