Gourmet Girl Magazine has graciously taken me on as a monthly contributor with March marking my first run. Guess they approved, which means you can catch my latest and greatest in April’s edition.

Last month I wrote about Nutrition so this month I focused on The Diet Game & Label Reading, continuing my lessons on how to ‘healthify’ your lifestyle. Of course my writing wouldn’t be complete without recipes to boot so here are the links to last month’s Irish Stew and this month’s Easter Dinner: Lemon Chicken with Pureed Rutabega and Grilled Asparagus. I know, I know–why does the Irishman choose chicken for Easter? It’s like this:

A man wanted an Easter pet for his daughter. He looked at a baby chick and a baby duck. They were both very cute, but he decided to buy the baby chick. Do you know why? The baby chick was a little cheeper!

(Ta dum dum) Ah well, what can I say?

Besides my contributions, Gourmet Girl Magazine has some great information including A Day in the Life in Spain, Dinner in the Garden at Gateway Organic Farms and the Gourmet Girl herself, Elaine, writing her own blog, Kitchen Rap.
