Banoffee Pie and St Clements Cake
I've been reading Jo Pratt's new book, In the mood for entertaining. There are some lovely recipes in this book and the first one that really caught my eye was this gorgeous banoffee pie. Jo describes this pie as something that is really quick to make, but will probably disppear even faster from your table! That was definitely the case in this house, that's for sure! If you want to try this recipe, you can try it here: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/food/article-1198620/Recipe-Classic-banoffee-pie.html The next recipe I made from this book was the lovely St Clements cake. A few of my favourite bloggers have raved about this cake recently, and I can now see why! It is so moist and flavourful with the combination of orange and lemon zest. When the cake comes out of the oven, you pierce the cake with a skewer and pour a orange and lemon syrup all over. It is very much like one of my favourite Nigella recipes, Lemon sryup loaf cake. related searches : Banoffee
