Creative Ways To Use Brown Rice
Today I’ve wasted too much time on the internet! That’s what happens when you are trying to build a website/blog by yourself. I am trying to figure out how to back-up my WordPress files and it’s driving me crazy. Yesterday I made a huge batch of brown rice, which turned out to be very convenient. In the AM I wanted to make something with the brown rice and leftovers cause I don’t like wasting food. In the fridge I had half an avocado and mango chunks. So I added the mangoes and avocado to the brown rice. It was amazingly good! Later, I used some of the brown rice in Trader Joes Roasted Red Pepper Soup. Instead of adding the millet like last time I just added some brown rice and roasted corn. I get the frozen roasted corn from Trader Joes. The picture below is when I used millet in the soup. There are endless ways to use brown rice: Add to soups, salads Make a pilaf Make a porridge with almond milk, toasted almonds and blueberries Serve with stir-fried veggies Make a brown rice bowl with black beans, corn and veggies Try brown fried rice with vegetables Add to burritos, wraps Stuff into bell peppers Use in impossible pie What ways do you use brown rice?
