Date Night Prize Pack Giveaway
Hello again, I have yet another fun giveaway from MyBlogSpark.com! I recently had the chance to try the Wanchai Ferry dry dinner kit and Macaroni Grill's dry dinner kit. I'll be honest, I've scene them advertised, but never thought to give it a try! I was beyond surprised on how great they tasted--just like you got take-out for the restaurants! In the dry dinner kit you are supplied with the sauce and starch (pasta or rice). You just have to add the protein and veggies *and in some cases milk. Let's talk about the Wanchai Ferry Dry Dinner kit, first. We had the chance to try the Orange Chicken. If I were to order out Chinese this is not a typical dish I would try, but I gave it a go, and it was fabulous! The dry box comes with the orange sauce, long grain white rice, the seasoned cornstarch for the chicken, and red chilies to spice up the dish! To complete our date night I added some vegetable spring rolls and edamame beans as an appetizer. It was the perfect date night in. For our second date night we had: Romano's Macaroni Grill Creamy Basil Parmesan Chicken & Pasta In this dry dinner kit you receive the linguine pasta, creamy sauce, basil & cheese seasoning, Sun-dried Tomatoes, and grated parmesan & Romano cheese blend. I just added a pound of skinless boneless chicken strips to a skillet, a little sauteing and voila! Dinner is served. We had a nice glass of chianti to accompany our second date night in! Now on to the giveaway details... One lucky winner will be drawn by random using random.org to win a Date Night prize pack that includes one Wanchai Ferry dry dinner kit, one Macaroni Grill dry dinner kit, and a $25 Visa gift card that you can use to create two magical date nights at home! This contest ends Wednesday, November 17th a 11:59 pm. I will announce the winner on Thursday, November 18th. In order to qualify for this giveaway you must answer one of the two questions by leaving a comment below: Share where you and your significant other had your first date? Or Give your best tips for having a fun date night at home! Jon and I, February 2003 on our first cruise together. (If our office wasn't under construction I would have tried to find our first "legal" 18-year old date picture dated back from June 2002.) Jon and I knew of each other in middle school, but didn't start talking to each other until our freshmen year of high school. I remember the first week of school--he walked me to all of my classes... very old school, but true! We only dated for a whopping 3 months in high school because of high school politics, but as soon as we graduated he began calling me nonstop--trying to convince me to go on one date with him. My best friend encouraged me to "use him for one date", and that was my mind set going into our first date outside of high school. I just couldn't imagine getting my heart broken again. Jon took me out to dinner (where, I have no clue) and went to the movies to see the Scoobie Doo movie... every time we see the movie on tv we laugh, now. Boy am I glad I took my best friends advice to use him for one date! We've been together ever since!
