Gifts, Bows and Sweets
Firstly, thankyou all so much for all of your encouraging comments about my first day of my new job (last Monday). It was a really overwhealming week for me, there is just so much to learn and I feel like that in the 3 days I was on the ward I learnt more than I did the last year at uni.  The other nurses are all very helpful and the patients are great. Tomorrow will be my first shift on my own which is pretty scary, so fingers crossed all goes alright :) Last weekend was my good friend Kimmy's birthday. We went to her house for a BBQ and had a nice relaxing day. My lovely friends Hillness, Kimmy and I...  Kimmy is back in Adelaide for a month break from studying in China for a year, which you can read about on her blog. I thought the perfect birthday pressie would be a photo album for her hundreds of photos from her stay in China. So I bought, covered, decorated and embroided a photo album for her! I was quite happy with how it finally tuned out after hours of work...  And I love the fabric I used! Arent the colours lovely?  Ive also been going bow crazy lately and also made this hair bow for Kim...  Here is one of the bows I made for myself, Im in love with this fabric too!  I also wanted to show you the album I made for my brother who recently returned from a 3 month snowboarding trip in Canada. I used red and white felt and embroided in black yarn.   If you remember my last post, you will have read about our trip to Eggless Cafe, well, we returned again, we cant stay away from this place!  I had the Coconut cherry icecream cupcake Sorry for the bad photo quality! and Mikey had the Roasted peach and butterscotch tart  Both of us proferred the deserts from our previous visit.Recently I received two awards! Imogen is a fellow aussie who has posts her cute outfits and other fashion bits and pieces! So pop over and say Hi if you have a minute.
