Horn of Plenty has been sold.
With so much going on at the moment it’s been hard to find time to do a post. Then we got an email telling us that The Horn of Plenty near Tavistock has been sold. Although we are unsure as to the final price paid to Paul Roston and Peter Gorton, we know that it was on the market for £1.5 million. The hotel which is set in the heart of rural Devon has 10 bedrooms & a 60 cover restaurant which has held three rosettes since 1991 and losing it’s Michelin star in 2007. The new owners are first time hoteliers Julie Leivers and Damien Pease. Whilst we couldn’t find out much about Mr Pease, it appears that Julie Leivers is the Head of Hovis at Premier Foods (according to her Linkedin page), and has worked in senior management positions in Silentnight & McCain Foods. We’d like to wish them all the best for the future.
