Star-shaped garlic bread with sandwich bread
Garlic bread with sandwich bread is an ultra-simple recipe that's always a hit! With just a few basic ingredients, you'll be able to make super-original bread rolls perfect for a festive aperitif. Each piece detaches easily for a crunchy bite flavored with garlic and parsley. For dipping in your favorite spreads ;-)

Preparation
- Cut the slice of sliced bread with a scissors, starting from one corner and working slightly diagonally (towards the opposite side), but not all the way through.
- Repeat the operation with the 4 corners of the bread slice.
- Gently fold one side towards the center without breaking it.
- Place the next side on top of the previous one.
- Repeat the operation.
- For the last corner, fold under the first to hold the star in place.
- Mix parsley, olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper.
- Brush the parsley mixture over the stars.
- Form the remaining stars.
- Air Fryer cooking:
Place the stars in the Air Fryer tray for 5 min at 390°F/200°C in "Air Fry" mode.
- And now your Air Fryer garlic bread is ready!
- Oven baking:
Place the stars on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper for 10 minutes at 350°F/180°C.
- And here's some crispy garlic bread out of the oven! :-)

Can I use another type of bread?
Yes, you can replace the sandwich bread with farmhouse bread, wholemeal bread or even slices of baguette, so you end up with a more classic garlic bread!
How can I replace fresh garlic?
If you don't have fresh garlic, you can use garlic powder without any problem.
Can I add cheese to this recipe?
Absolutely! You can sprinkle grated Parmesan or add mozzarella before baking for an even more delicious garlic bread.
What other herbs can I use instead of parsley?
If you don't have parsley, you can use basil, chives or dried oregano.
How long can I keep garlic bread étoile?
It's best to eat it immediately to keep it crisp. However, you can store it for a few hours at room temperature and reheat it in the oven at low temperature before serving.
