Ingredients

• 1 cup of butter
• 3 cups of flour
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 3 egg yolks
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 2)
• 1 3/4 apple sauce
• grated lemon peel
• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon grround clove

Preparation

• 1) Crumble ingredients in a bowl.
• 2) Mix last 4 ingedients. Place 1/2 of flour mixture in bottom of greased 9x9 pan.
• Spread apple sauce mixture over bottom layer. top with remaining flour mixture.
• Bake 350 degrees F for 45 - 60 minutes.
