Unroll the first puff pastry and spread pesto over the entire surface.
Unroll the second puff pastry and cover the first one with it.
Place a glass in the center.Using a knife, cut the pastry into 28 strips from the base of the glass to the edges.
Twist the 28 strips. Always twist in the same direction and gently to avoid tearing the pastry near the glass. Remove the glass.Brush the star with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Place the star on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 25 minutes at 180°C (350°F).
And there you have it! Your star is ready to be shared and especially devoured!
