Knorr Chilli Gobi
Serves : Four Ingredients 300 g cauliflower florets For marination : ½ teaspoon salt & ½ teaspoon red chilli powder For the sauce : 1 onion ( medium size ) 1 capsicum ( medium size ) 2 spring onions 1 pack Knorr Make - a ? Meal Chinese Chilli For frying batter : ½ cup corn flour ½ cup maida 1 teaspoon baking powder ½ cup water 1 green chilli , finely chopped ½ teaspoon salt Method 1, Marinate cauliflower florets with salt and red chilli powder and keep aside for half an hour. 2, Mix all frying batter ingredients, whip up to make a smooth batter and keep aside. 3, Squeeze to remove excess water from the cauliflower pieces. 4, In a bowl , mix the cauliflower pieces with the frying batter till they are well coated. 5, Deep- fry the batter coated cauliflower in medium hot oil till golden brown and crisp. Keep aside. 6, Dice the vegetables, keep aside. 7, In a separate pan , heat 1 tablespoon of oil and stir ? fry the chopped onion, capsicum and spring onions for 1 minute. 8, Add 450 ml ( 3 cups ) water along with the entire contents of the Knorr Chinese Chilli pack, stir , bring to boil and simmer for 3 minutes. 9, Add the fried cauliflower pieces , mix well and remove in a serving dish ( do not cook further ). 10, Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot. related searches : Knorr
