Ladybug Cupcakes

Ladybugs invaded the office this past Monday to celebrate my co-worker Karen’s birthday! I found this idea over at Wilton. I used some different decorating ideas as compared to the Wilton directions. Instead of icing for the head, I used an Oreo. I also used a mini m&m for the nose.



I experimented with making baby ladybugs too! I used mini Oreos for the heads. The piping of the small details was a bit hard for me. Definitely need practice!!! The big ladybugs were vanilla cupcakes, and the little ladybugs were golden yellow cupcakes.


I will definitely be making these ladybugs again because they produced a lot of smiles at work, especially from the birthday girl!
