Carrots join our hummus for an appetizer! In addition to adding their orange color, they will bring slightly sweet flavors to your spread. Perfect with vegetable sticks or chips! Preheat your oven to 350°F. Cut the carrots into small sticks, mix them with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, and bake for 20 minutes. Let them cool down.
Put the carrots, chickpeas, parsley, lemon juice, and tahini in a blender. Season to taste.
Blend the mixture until smooth and homogeneous. If the texture is too thick, add more lemon juice.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds, and it's ready!
Observations
Tahini is a sesame paste. You can find it in supermarkets. You can replace it with another nut butter.
