Carrot cookies

Ingredients

• 225 g butter
• 200 g sugar
• 10 g orange peel
• 1 egg
• 335 g flour
• 140 g grated carrots
• 9 g baking powder
• 1 g salt
• 1 g cinnamon

Preparation

• Heat the oven till 180 C and grease baking sheets
• Beat butter and sugar until fluffy, add orange peel and beat again
• Separately mix all dry ingredients and add them to a butter mixture, mix it together, adding grated carrots.
• Form your cookies and put them onto a baking sheet (be careful, cookies will spread widely)
• Bake for about 12-15 minutes or until edges are light brown
