New Flavors Brighten Up My Day

Ick. The weather got so much worse.

Poor Mal is stuck in traffic right now, so I offered to cook him dinner. He informed me, however, that it was “one of those days” and he would be stopping at Wendy’s on his way home. (Remember the time that I busted him? )

Despite the “blah-ness” of the day, a special package arrived for me. Inside were samples of Larabar’s new flavors:

Can we all agree, HOLY YUM!?!?! I’m psyched to try these new flavors!

I hadn’t eaten a single vegetable all day long, so a big salad for dinner was an easy decision.

The salad included greens, broccoli, grape tomatoes, watermelon, sliced almonds, and yucca, which is not pictured because I munched on a few fries while preparing the salad.

I also whipped up a banana-chocolate smoothie.

I had planned to get a headstart on some work tonight, but instead, I’m going to put on my “move suit” and veg-out! I’m trying to add some balance to my normally hectic life.
